Privacy Policy

Atlas is a static website. There is no account to create and no way to create one, no sign-in, no profile, no contact form, and no comment field. There is nothing here for you to fill in except a calculator, and what you put into a calculator never leaves your browser.

Atlas currently serves no advertising and runs no analytics. If advertising is introduced later, it will be consent-managed where consent is required, and the rule that calculator inputs and results never enter an advertising or measurement request does not change.

Atlas does not ask for, receive or store any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
• An account, a password, or any credential — there are none to hold.
• What you type into a calculator, and what a calculator returns to you.
• Files, documents or images — there is nothing here to upload to.
• Location data, and any advertising identifier.
• A profile of you, or any record that survives your visit on our side.

Calculations run in your browser. The inputs you enter and the results you receive are never transmitted to us, to a hosting provider, to an advertiser or to anyone else. This is a property of how the site is built, not a policy we apply to data we could otherwise see.

Requesting any page on the internet sends some information to whoever serves it. Atlas is served from Cloudflare Pages, and a request to it carries the ordinary technical data every web request carries: your IP address, the address of the page you asked for, the referring page if your browser sent one, your user-agent string, and the time of the request. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse and denial-of-service traffic.

We do not build analytics, profiles or advertising audiences from it, and we do not combine it with anything else, because there is nothing else to combine it with.

Atlas sets no cookies. Three preferences are stored locally in your browser, in local storage, by the single interface script this site ships:

• Appearance — whether you chose the ink or the paper material.
• Context panel — whether you left the side panel open or collapsed.
• Favourites — pages you saved for yourself.

These never leave your device, are never sent in any request, and are not readable by us. Clearing your browser's site data for this site removes all three. If your browser blocks local storage, the preferences simply are not remembered and nothing else changes.

Should advertising or consent management be introduced, any cookie either one requires will be scoped to atlas.corevecta.com alone. It will never be written for the parent domain, so it can never be read by another CoreVecta site. That restriction is enforced by a release gate rather than left to care.

Loading a page fetches the page, one stylesheet and one small interface script, all from this origin. Atlas loads no third-party scripts, no web fonts, no external stylesheets and no images from other hosts, so simply reading a page contacts nobody but us.

When you ask a calculator to run, your browser then downloads the certified engine and the signed calculation pack it needs, again from this origin, and verifies both before opening them. That request carries the identity of the pack being fetched. It does not carry your inputs — the inputs never leave the page, which is why the engine has to come to them rather than the other way around.

No analytics or measurement is running on Atlas today. No third-party analytics service is embedded, and no first-party measurement is being collected.

If first-party measurement is switched on later, its vocabulary is already fixed and deliberately small: the address of the page, what kind of page it is, the field it belongs to, the language, and how you arrived stated as a category such as search, direct or referral. It is enumerated in the site's source and checked on every build.

The limit that matters is this one, and it is enforced rather than promised: no value you entered, no value a calculator returned, and nothing from your saved work may ever appear in a measurement or advertising request. There is no free-form field in the schema for one to be smuggled into, and a build that adds one fails.

Atlas serves no advertising at present. No ad tag is on any page and no advertising account is configured in what is published.

Contextual advertising may be introduced on this site in future. It is worth being plain about why: Atlas is the property that carries advertising so that the material published here can keep being written. If and when it is introduced, all of the following will hold from the first impression, because each is a condition the build enforces:

• Consent first. Where you are in a jurisdiction that requires consent for advertising cookies or personalised advertising, a certified consent-management platform will ask you before any advertising request is made, and a refusal will be respected. Until such a platform is configured, no advertising can serve at all.
• Never on a calculator's inputs or results. Advertising may not occupy or sit beside the input region, the result region or the provenance panel of any calculator.
• Never informed by your calculation. Nothing you type and nothing an engine returns is available to an advertising request, on any surface, under any configuration.
• Never on this page, or the other trust pages. The pages that explain how this works do not carry the thing they explain.
• Always disclosed. A paid placement that does not say it is paid is not a placement, and any sponsored link is marked as sponsored.

This policy will be updated to describe advertising in the present tense before it is served, not after, and separate advertising and cookie disclosures will be published at that time.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we hold none to sell. The only third party involved in serving this site today is our hosting provider, which processes the request data in section 2 on our behalf in order to deliver pages and protect the site.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, and we will do so no more broadly than the requirement demands.

Atlas is a general-audience reference site for engineering and financial work. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal data at all.

Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or an equivalent law applies to you, you have the right to know what personal data is held about you, and to have it corrected, deleted, restricted or provided to you in portable form; where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it.

In practice there is very little for those rights to act on here, and saying so is more useful than restating the law at length: Atlas holds no account, no profile and no record of your visit, so for most requests the honest answer is that there is nothing to retrieve or erase. The request data described in section 2 is retained by our hosting provider for a short operational period for delivery and security purposes and is not used to identify you.

The lawful basis for that limited processing is our legitimate interest in delivering the site and keeping it available. If advertising or measurement is introduced, consent will be the basis wherever the law requires it.

To exercise any right, write to privacy@corevecta.com. We will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national data-protection supervisory authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

This policy changes when the site does, and the effective date at the top changes with it. A material change — in particular, the introduction of advertising or measurement — will be described here before it takes effect rather than discovered afterwards.
